Known for its supportive environment, quality programs, and student-focused approach in Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines, Hercor makes applying feel less like a chore and more like an exciting milestone.
In this blog, we'll break down the enrollment process step by step, based on the official flowchart. Note that the process is identical for both freshmen and transferees—great news if you're switching schools! We'll also include a bonus section for returning (old) students at the end. Let's dive in and get you on your way to becoming a certified Jaguar!
Before we jump into the steps, a quick shoutout to what makes Hercor stand out:
Affordable Tuition: Competitive fees with flexible payment options.

Ready to apply? Follow these steps carefully, and don't hesitate to reach out to the admissions office for any clarifications.
The process is linear and efficient, typically completed in a day or two if you have all your documents ready. Pro tip: Visit during weekdays to avoid crowds, and bring originals plus photocopies of everything. Here's the flow:
Get Your Entrance Exam Form Head straight to the Front Office. This is your starting point! Fill out the basic application details. No appointment needed—just walk in with enthusiasm. Required: Valid ID (e.g., school ID or government-issued).
Make the Entrance Exam Payment Proceed to the Business Cashier. Pay the entrance exam fee. You'll get a receipt. Tip: Bring cash or check for accepted payment methods like bank transfers.
Take the Entrance Exam Go to the ICTSD (Information and Communications Technology Services Department) with your registered Entrance Exam Form and payment receipt. The exam covers basic subjects like math, English, and logic—nothing too intimidating if you've prepared. Duration: About 1-2 hours. Results are often available the same day.
Attend the Interview Next up: The Guidance Office. This is a friendly chat to discuss your goals, program choice, and how Hercor can support you. Be honest and show your passion! Prep: Think about why you chose your course and any questions you have about campus life.
Encoding and Document Submission Return to the Registrar (or designated encoding area) with all required documents: Registered Entrance Exam Form, Entrance Exam Result, High School Card (or equivalent for transferees), Certificate of Good Moral Character, and a White Long Folder to organize everything. This step digitizes your info into the system. Double-Check: Make sure all docs are complete to avoid delays.
Get Department Recommendation Stop by the Dean's Office for your chosen department. They'll review your docs and give a recommendation—essentially a green light for your program. Why This Matters: Ensures you're a good fit and gets you academic advising early.
Enroll Officially Visit the Registrar's Office to submit your forms and confirm your enrollment. This locks in your spot in classes. Documents Needed: Entrance Exam results, high school card/transcript (for freshmen) or transfer credentials (for transferees), and birth certificate.
Complete Payment Back to the Business Office/Cashier for tuition and other fees. You can pay in full or discuss installment plans. Get your official receipt—this is key for the next steps. Budget Tip: Factor in miscellaneous fees like ID, uniform, or lab costs.
Get Your Student ID Final stop: The Multimedia Office. Pose for your photo and pick up your official Hercor ID. Congratulations—you're now a certified Jaguar! Perk: Your ID grants access to campus facilities like the library and events.
That's it! The entire process is designed to be welcoming and efficient. If you're a transferee, remember to bring your honorable dismissal and transcript from your previous school—they'll integrate seamlessly into steps 6-8.
Prepare Documents in Advance: List includes birth certificate, 2x2 photos, medical certificate (if required), and proof of payment.
Timeline: Applications are open year-round, but aim for before the semester starts (e.g., June for first sem, November for second).
Costs: Entrance exam ~PHP 150; initial tuition deposit varies by program.
